The European Waterjetting Institute (EWJI) is the European association of national syndicates in the area of water jets. Besides some national associations, there are also producers of HD equipment and High-Pressure service providers represented. October 14th, 2015 the first European Waterjetting Forum has taken place. Around 50 participants from divers European Countries and the USA have discussed current industry topics as occupational safety and production standards. Also the future challenges of this industry have been discussed. The importancy of environment protection and the protection of ressources was also topic.

The periodic removal of runway rubber, which particularly arises during landing of aircrafts, is a very important issue for the airport safety. Apart from cost efficiency also the environmental compatibility has been coming into focus in the recent past. As preferred method for the removal of rubber residues a high performance vehicle called "Airport Runway Cleaner", working with high pressure water, is used. Reprotex participated as one of nine group exhibitors at the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA pavilion at the water technology fair ASIA WATER 2014 at Kuala Lumpur's Convention Centre from 19.-21. March 2014. With more than 13.000 trade visitors and over 700 exhibitors the ASIA WATER is one of the most important fairs for water/wastewater in Asia. Hence the Asian region is gaining more and more in ship maintenance work, the fair could perfectly used for making first contacts to shipyards and service providers of the water blasting industry.
